Back again to dear old Southampton. This time to join the Sapphire Princess for a cruise to the Baltic.
Dropped off the car for parking during the cruise and joined the ship. Very quick progress through booking and security and soon through to our mini-suite stateroom.
A bite of lunch then it’s time for safety drills before sailaway. Weather today variable with one very short shower but mostly bright and sunny.
An exploration of the ship showed the ship to have a largely familiar layout with some variations, so many cruise ships are based on the same basic design.
Dinner in the buffet before calling it a day and relaxing in our room and an early night, we always seem so worn out the first day.
Overnight sail to Zeebrugge, should be arriving early tomorrow morning.
