Not so much pressure to get going today, but no time to waste.
Cunard shuttle to city and then moved across to the Ho-Ho bus for a ride through Kowloon, passing by various temples and very exclusive designer shops and some local markets, quite a contrast.
Managed to get off the bus a stop too early so walked to the ferry terminal through a large area of development and past more designers shops with queues waiting their turn to enter. Everywhere very busy and crowded.
Back at the terminal caught a ferry over to Hong Kong Island.
Onto the Ho-Ho bus for a tour of the Hong Kong Island. Once more we went past the tower blocks surrounding the harbour. These include one nicknamed the Gin Bottle because of it’s looking like an inverted gin bottle, this is the home of the Chinese Army in Hong Kong. The occupants are not allowed out to visit the city, just in case.

Going up with a view of Happy Valley Horse Racecourse, despite the value of land in the area the populations love of gambling means space has been found for a racecourse. Through a tunnel under the central mountains and on to the South Coast and Repulse Bay, nice beaches, through Stanley with it’s colonial homes and on through Aberdeen with its floating village, restaurants and fishing fleet.

Back to the ferry and back to the shuttle for return to the ship, the day just seems to have disappeared.
Today a folkloric show including dragon dancing.
Watched the light show across the harbour from our balcony, perhaps not the best viewpoint but easy and no chance of missing the ship!
