Today starts our Great US Adventure.
It all starts in Southampton, sailing on the Crown Princess
to New York via the Shetland Islands, Iceland and Canada.
This cruise we are trying a new parking plan, boldly allowing
strangers to take our car away to park! Let's see if this is successful? Time will tell.
Very quick (even earlier than paperwork indicated) booking,
security and boarding all by 12.15.
Lovely sunny day so spent time out on balcony till time for
emergency drill, followed by sailaway, with our destination of Lerwick 752
nautical miles away.
Rest of the day spent unpacking, relaxing and a little dinner
before an early night as always seem very tired first day, must be the stress.
