Started the day with tea and coffee in our cabin, too far to the buffet on this ship to collect from there.
First job of the day to make a call at the theatre to check we had properly registered our safety compliance, all seemed ok, but just as confusing today as yesterday.
Time for breakfast from the buffet. Busy, busy, busy, looks like everyone on the ship has come for breakfast together. Restaurant breakfast slot rather restricted and the clocks went forward last night so everyone running late. Ended up with a rather mixture of food for breakfast, perhaps when it’s a bit quieter it may be possible to make better choices.
This morning’s highlight is the “Welcome Back Cocktail Party”, no cocktails, just sham champagne or tropical juice and no party, just a quick talk by the cruise director, the presentation of a few of the ship’s officers and a sample performance by the theatre performers and acrobats.
The weather this morning sunny and breezy, gave opportunity for a nice walk on the top deck jogging/walking track. Bit too cool on the shady side so it’s just up and down the sunny side.
Coffee today in the Jean Philippe Chocolate shop and Cafe. Very good. Just a short wait till picture trivia, moved from top deck to Galleria - weather! Today it’s beer logos. No win, no prize. Another wait till the next trivia, this time in the pub. General trivia, fair effort but no win again.
Pre-dinner cocktails, such slow service only just arrived in time to take in to dinner with us. Tonight it’s Mexican in the Hola restaurant. This one is our freebie which comes with our loyalty level, good deal!
Happy Anniversary
Really no need to search the menu for what to order, the freebie is a cut down version of the all you can eat sample of the menu. Starting with nachos with all the trimmings, then Street Tacos with all sorts of fillings, then a selection of Quesadillas, followed by Burritos and finally a dessert of vanilla sponge with condensed milk, rum and caramel.
Wow, well stuffed, lucky we ate very sparingly today.
Just time to wait for the Galleria dome lightshow, tonight it’s “Wizardry”, (some examples of the different offerings from through our cruise) then back to cabin to relax and digest.
