Overnight we have been following the Spanish coast northwards around the Bay of Lyon.
High winds, up to about 80 Knots, and a rough sea. Not quite sure why we are going this way, not the obvious route to Ajaccio. Perhaps trying to avoid the worst of the wind.
Apparently it’s the Mistral wind.
We seem to be following all these weather phenomena around the world.
Noon brought better weather, wind dying down. Temperature and sun good. Now the open decks are back in use we are able to take advantage and sit out and enjoy the sun.
Time to try to work off a few of the extra calories added on this voyage.
Formal dinner tonight, lobster tail, in the main dining room.
Followed by the show in the theatre, "Hollywood Rocks”, a compilation of musical numbers from the movies. Brought up to date with some new numbers from recent releases.
