Day 27 - at Sea

Thursday 18th October 2018

Lovely sunny morning again, light winds and calm seas.

This morning our course takes us round the south of Italy.  Passing out of the Adriatic Sea crossing the Ionian Sea and moving through the Messina Strait into the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Easy start to the day, nowhere to go nothing to do.  Time to catch up with all those little things port days just seem to make too difficult to get to.

Breakfast and then morning trivia, another superb score, four points better than almost all the rest of the teams but still two short of the winners, with a perfect score, again.

The afternoon partly clouded up and there was a general haze obscuring the views.

Formal dinner in the main restaurant, followed by the World Cruise Club cocktail party.

Ducked out a little early as we were passing Stromboli.

Fine view of the island from the balcony, quite dark now, but it did allow the volcanic eruptions to show up.

Several eruptions while we sailed past.  Now even more surprised people live here all the time.
